Requistion ID: 8029

Location:

Your new role

Could you be the leader who helps two critical operational teams thrive? Join us at Lundbeck and be part of a community helping millions of patients every day, while shaping and developing the teams within Production Cleaning and Site Services through your leadership, experience and personality.

You will have overall responsibility for two critical operational teams within Security & Service, with a high degree of freedom to make a positive difference for both customers and employees. You will lead skilled teams, establish clear structures and priorities, and ensure safe, compliant and high‑quality service delivery.

You will develop and implement operational strategies, ensure compliance with relevant GMP requirements, standards and procedures, and drive continuous improvement. Your success will be reflected in a safe and inclusive working environment, efficient operations and strong satisfaction among internal customers. By ensuring that essential services run smoothly and effectively, you enable others across Lundbeck to focus on what they do best.

In the role your main tasks will be:

  • Manage, develop and coordinate the teams’ daily activities and ensure clear priorities and responsibilities.
  • Ensure visible and present leadership across the areas and working hours covered by the teams.
  • Plan and coordinate staffing, shift schedules and resource allocation based on operational needs.
  • Ensure GMP‑compliant Production Cleaning and systematic follow‑up on quality, standards and performance.
  • Establish and maintain robust work processes, planning tools and data‑driven performance follow‑up.
  • Implement and optimize work processes to increase quality, job satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through close, constructive stakeholder collaboration and communication.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities using relevant Lean and Operational Excellence tools.
  • Manage service providers and ensure that outsourced services meet agreed quality, compliance and service expectations.
Your future team

You will lead two teams with a total of 16 employees: nine in Production Cleaning and seven in Site Services. Production Cleaning is a business‑critical area responsible for delivering high‑quality cleaning in a regulated pharmaceutical production environment, while Site Services covers a broad range of services supporting the daily operation of our Valby site, including outdoor services, waste management, pest control, mail and goods receiving. Selected services, such as winter services and grounds maintenance, are delivered in collaboration with external service providers.

The teams are part of the Security & Service department within Facilities and HS&E, where you will work closely with your management colleagues. You will join a management team of five colleagues and a dynamic workplace with a strong focus on development, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Our culture is characterized by trust and a continuous focus on improving our services and processes. We are firm believers in freedom within our own areas of responsibility and in the positive effect of having good colleagues around us. We enjoy sharing and celebrating small successes and value close team relationships when challenges are being addressed. You will join a strong community with a passion for service and operational excellence.

The position is based in Valby, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

You are a motivating leader who creates clarity, follows through on commitments and takes pride in delivering high‑quality service. You are visible in the operation and communicate constructively with people at all levels. You are structured and solutions‑oriented, comfortable using data to set priorities and drive improvements, and adaptable and willing to take on additional service responsibilities over time.

Also, you have/are:

  • A broad background in operational people management, preferably from pharmaceutical production, regulated cleaning, facility services or a similar service organization.
  • Experience leading employees across different working hours and creating engagement through visible leadership and regular follow‑up.
  • Experience with GMP, quality systems or other regulated environments; direct experience with production cleaning is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish structure, implement processes and translate operational challenges into clear action plans and measurable results.
  • Experience with resource planning, workforce management, performance follow‑up and collaboration with external service providers.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to create constructive collaboration across functions.
  • Fluent in both Danish and English, as our skilled colleagues and internal customers come from various nationalities.
