Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Laboratory Technician for Oils & Fats Application Research in Lyngby, Denmark. You will plan and run lab-scale trials, analyze data, and document results to support scalable industrial processes in biodiesel, renewable diesel, and related applications.

The role requires hands-on biotech lab experience, proficiency with ELN tools like Benchling, and strong collaboration across international teams. A Danish education background and bilingual communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Danish laboratory education program or equivalent.
• Several years of hands-on laboratory experience in biotech.
• Experience planning and executing laboratory trials.
• Strong documentation skills with electronic notebooks (Benchling).
• Interest in data analysis and automation using digital tools.
• Ability to work independently and in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute lab trials at laboratory scale for vegetable oils and fats.
• Handle, analyze, and report data from trials using Excel or SAS JMP.
• Maintain electronic notebooks and databases with raw data and study docs.
