Job summary

RWE Renewables Denmark A/S is seeking a BoP Technician to join the offshore operations team for Thor Offshore Wind Farm. You will perform inspections, coordinate external service providers, and ensure safety and compliance offshore.

Two+ years of offshore experience, vocational technical training, and ability to obtain a GWO certificate are required. Proactive, collaborative approach and proficiency with Fluix/SAP and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

Completed vocational training as a mechanical, electrical or wind turbine technician.
At least two years of maintenance experience within offshore wind, maritime operations or utilities.
Strong HSEQ awareness and knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and industry requirements.
Experience in planning and coordinating service assignments.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Fluix or SAP.
Good spoken and written English; Danish language skills are an advantage.
Ability to work offshore and obtain a valid GWO certificate.
A high level of physical fitness for demanding conditions at sea.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and technical inspections of turbine foundations, transition pieces, boat landings, ladders and secondary steel structures.
Identify and report corrosion, weld fatigue and structural damage.
Monitor structural integrity, including cathodic protection systems checks.
Oversee scour protection and coordinate with ROV teams to assess seabed erosion.
Inspect and maintain foundation davit cranes and support turbine activities as required.
Document work in Fluix and create fault notifications in SAP.
Contribute to risk assessments and method statements for repairs and maintenance.
Coordinate work of external service providers and ensure OH&S compliance.
