Job summary

Weibel Scientific in Allerød, Denmark, is seeking an NPI Development & Test Engineer to join our Production Engineering team. You will develop automated test solutions for electronic assemblies, support NPI transfers, and help scale advanced radar tech into production.

The role blends hands-on engineering with process optimization, employing LabVIEW, TestStand and Python to design test equipment, contribute to DFT/DFM, and collaborate across production, QA, and supply chain to improve quality

Qualifications

Requires a engineering degree (Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related).
Experience developing automated test systems and production test solutions.
Strong troubleshooting skills and hardware/software integration knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize production test solutions for electronic assemblies and modules.
Design and implement automated test equipment, software, and processes.
Contribute to Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and transfer of new products into production.
Troubleshoot test equipment and manufacturing issues with Production and R&D.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality and production stability.
Provide technical support to Procurement and Production, including supplier collaboration and issue resolution.
Create and maintain test specifications, work instructions, and technical reports.
Drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes and test coverage.
