Job summary

Skechers Nordics seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead the People function across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland from the Esbjerg HQ. You will partner with senior leaders to shape a Nordic people strategy driving growth, engagement and operational excellence.

You’ll oversee organizational development, talent management, payroll compliance, and workforce planning while advancing a high-performance culture in a multi-country retail and corporate setting.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience in senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Act as HR representative within the Nordic Management Team and influence business decisions.
• Partner with HR Director Nordics & UK to implement Nordic HR strategy.
• Translate priorities into a measurable HR roadmap for growth and performance.
• Provide coaching to senior leaders on organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
• Lead and improve the performance management framework across functions and locations.
• Develop management capability through coaching and learning initiatives.
• Use HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and present recommendations.
• Own the employee engagement agenda and drive meaningful action plans.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, pension obligations and internal policies across the Nordic region.
• Oversee payroll processes and governance across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
• Lead the HR team including Business Partners, Payroll & Administration, and Canteen Management.
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Lead regional and global HR projects as required.
