Job summary

Velux Group in Denmark is seeking an Industrial Engineer for night shifts to support automated production environments. You will work closely with production and maintenance teams, tackle complex technical issues, and help introduce new products and manufacturing technologies.

You will plan testing, define equipment needs, partner with Supply/Project Management, and contribute to continuous improvements in equipment, processes and layouts. Danish/English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Background in production technology, automation technology, or engineering, or similar technical field.
• Vocational training plus further technical/engineering education is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support production and maintenance teams in resolving complex technical issues.
• Introduce new product launches and changes into production in collaboration with project management.
• Define and procure equipment for production setups, test equipment and cells.
• Plan, coordinate and perform testing of new products, software, updates, equipment and technology.
• Investigate quality deviations, capacity challenges and equipment failures and develop solutions.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment, processes, layouts, material usage and waste reduction.
