Job summary

Prestige Talent in Horsens, Denmark, is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to maintain the company’s network and server infrastructure and to ensure reliable, secure IT services across the organization.

Based in Horsens with occasional travel, you will install, configure and monitor equipment, implement security measures, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations. A Bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience are required, with virtualization experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with server management including installation, configuration, maintenance.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve network issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the company's network infrastructure to ensure its smooth functioning.
• Implement security measures to protect the network from external threats.
• Troubleshoot any network issues that arise.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
• Provide technical support for all systems including servers, workstations, printers, and other devices.
• Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest software updates and patches.
• Monitor system performance and make necessary optimizations.
• Create documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
