Job description

As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our companys computer network systems Your main duties will include installing configuring and troubleshooting network equipment and software as well as ensuring the security and integrity of our systems

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain network hardware and software including routers switches firewalls and servers
• Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation and identify potential issues
• Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely resolution
• Implement security measures to protect company data from cyber threats
• Create user accounts and manage access permissions to various systems
• Conduct regular backups of data to prevent loss or damage
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan upgrades and implement new technologies
• Document network configurations procedures and issues for future reference

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols eg TCPIP LANWAN configurations and server operating systems eg Windows Server
• Familiarity with security protocols eg SSL and antivirus software
• Experience with virtualization technologies eg VMware
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Location This position is based in Roskilde but may require occasional travel within the country

Salary The starting salary for this position is 1500$ per month
