Job summary

We are seeking a Network and Systems Administrator in Roskilde, Denmark to maintain and optimize our network and computer systems. You will work with IT to ensure smooth operation of infrastructure and security.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, monitoring performance, and providing user support. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate, with a monthly salary of 1400 USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS/IT or related field.
• Proven experience as Network or Systems Administrator.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, firewalls, VPNs and wireless tech.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and VMware environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, APs).
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform upgrades as needed.
• Monitor network performance and identify improvement areas.
• Implement security measures to protect data and systems.
• Maintain systems and apply security patches; update software.
• Provide end-user support for network or system issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan new tech solutions.
• Manage user accounts and permissions as required.

Network and Systems Administrator As a Network and Systems Administrator for our company in Roskilde, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network and computer systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all network and system infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
• Monitor network performance to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
• Implement security measures to protect the company's data and systems
• Maintain and update system software, including operating systems, applications, and security patches
• Provide technical support to end users for network connectivity or system issues
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and implement new technology solutions
• Manage user accounts and permissions on various systems as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), routing protocols (BGP), firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1400$ per month
