Job summary

Oterra is seeking a lab-oriented candidate in Mexico City to support inventory control, sample handling, and the development and monitoring of procedures for natural colorants. You will assist in stability tracking, support customer projects, and help weigh raw materials while maintaining an organized laboratory environment.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and prior experience in an experimental lab or the food and beverage industry is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with lab/industry exposure preferred.
• Experience in experimental lab or food/bev industry desirable.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and sample handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage raw materials inventory and colorant samples.
• Coordinate sample shipment and requests.
• Develop and monitor laboratory procedures.
• Track stability and manage laboratory equipment.
• Support in customer projects.
• Weigh raw materials (macro and micro ingredients).
• Maintain laboratory organization.
