Job summary

Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer — AI Architecture Research based in Denmark. The role focuses on researching and building next-generation AI model architectures that can move from experiments to scalable production.

You will bridge machine learning research, model engineering, and real-world deployment, challenging architectural assumptions and exploring non-Transformer designs with hands-on experiments and end-to-end prototyping.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in ML and DL concepts and practical model development experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing neural network/model architectures from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop novel neural network architectures, including alternatives to Transformers.
• Design and run architecture-level experiments focusing on scaling, memory, and compute-performance trade-offs.
• Prototype end-to-end models translating research concepts into training-ready implementations.
• Analyze model behavior, inductive biases, and architectural strengths and limitations.
• Collaborate with inference and systems engineers to ensure efficient deployment.
