Advansor in Aarhus is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Digital Engineering Team. You will own engineering data and product design, manage master documentation, CAD models, and BOM, and support the design team to ensure efficient order execution.

The role focuses on modular, configurable 3D CAD Master development, robust design, and change management using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM. Strong communication and hands-on attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience with 3D CAD models in SolidWorks.
• Experience managing BOM structures and product configuration.
• Experience with revisions/workflows in SolidWorks PDM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create and maintain modular and configurable 3D CAD Master (options / sub-assemblies).
• Ensure correct BOM for the 3D CAD Master.
• Support and train designers in use of 3D CAD Master.
• Technical documentation for production/sub-supplier.
• Technical support to new mechanical parts creation.
• Responsible for CAD part Library.
• Take part in high complexity projects, including development of new products.

Mechanical Engineer for Digital Engineering Team

Advansor is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for Digital Engineering team to become a part of an international team driven by finding the best customer solutions

Your role

The Digital Engineering team is looking for a pragmatic and structured Mechanical Engineer to take hands-on product ownership of both engineering data and product design. This is the ideal role for you if you enjoy thinking strategically and can confidently handle complex products with many configurations.

In this role, you will manage master documentation, specifically focusing on CAD models and component master data. Furthermore, you will directly support the design team on product-related issues to ensure efficient order execution.

A key focus of your work will be configuration and robust design. With your solutions, our products will move from complex, one-off engineering to streamlined, configurable solutions. If you enjoy creating order out of complex data and building stable, robust configurable systems, this role is a great fit.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining SolidWorks master for a product platform, 2D drawings, 3D drawings, BOM and being ambassador for the Advansor way of making 3D.

Your background

We expect that you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering. You will be responsible product configuration, BOM structure Management and application of robust design principles. Develop and maintained 3D CAD models and assemblies in SolidWorks, utilizing relevant extensions to support product development. You will manage engineering documentation, revisions and workflows in SolidWork PDM while ensuring accurate product data and efficient change management.
