Job summary
Rockwell Automation is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join the CUBIC R&D team in Brønderslev, Denmark. You will develop modular low-voltage switchboard systems, create 3D CAD models and drawings, and work with engineers and manufacturing to turn concepts into manufacturable products.
You will collaborate across the global organization from concept to production release, with Creo or Pro/ENGINEER experience and a proven ability to manage large assemblies, specifications, and change
Qualifications
- Experience with CAD software and the ability to create 3D models and drawings.
- Experience working with large and complex assemblies.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and product data.
- Structured approach to managing design changes and product information.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, and product specifications for new products and improvements.
- Support enclosure systems, busbar support systems, and related mechanical components.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and cost requirements.
- Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and product data in relevant systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and project teams.
