CSIS Security Group A/S is seeking an Security Analyst for our cutting-edge MDR team in Copenhagen. You will investigate incidents, triage alerts, and monitor events from diverse data sources to protect our clients, including large enterprises.

The role supports flexible home working within a 24/7 rotation, with days, evenings, nights, and weekend shifts. You will gain expertise in EDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM and Windows/Linux forensics, while collaborating with a global team of around 30 colleagues.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in IT security or similar
• Experience with Endpoint Protection, IDS/IPS, or SIEM
• Scripting or programming experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Good attention to detail and quality work
• Comfort presenting to clients
• Windows and Linux proficiency
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS)
• Interest in malware analysis or incident response

Responsibilities

• Triaging alerts and monitoring security events from multiple data sources
• Provide analysis and recommendations to customers
• Perform live forensics on systems affected by malware
• Act as first-line support in incident response
• Fine-tune detection rules to improve alert quality
• Engage with customers in meetings and provide environmental analyses
• Collaborate with Incident Response team on investigations and engagements
