Job summary

Rohde Nielsen A/S seeks Marine Engineers for dredger operations with DP experience to join a modern fleet operating globally. You will ensure safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of shipboard machinery, while supporting deck and dredging tasks in varied conditions.

Candidate should hold a Chief/Second Engineer certificate up to 3,000 kW, strong English (CEFR B2), and be capable of independent work within a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Certificate of Competency as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer, at least up to 3,000 kW
• Possess all required and valid STCW certifications
• Have strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, corresponding to a minimum B2 level (CEFR)
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and sound decision-making abilities
• Are proactive, reliable, and committed to maintaining high safety and environmental standards
• Are capable of working independently while contributing positively to a multicultural team environment
• Thrive in a dynamic operational setting with varied technical challenges and responsibilities
• Are willing and prepared to take part in all required onboard operations, including machinery operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting deck and dredging operations as operational needs require

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot vessel machinery and systems
• Work in ports, coastal waters and offshore dredging projects
• Participate in onboard operations including machinery, deck and dredging support
• Maintain safety, reliability and environmental standards
• Collaborate with international crew on complex projects
