Description du poste

As a Long Haul Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances typically between cities or even countries. Your main duty will be to safely and efficiently operate a large commercial truck adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. You may also be responsible for loading and unloading cargo as well as completing paperwork and maintaining records of your trips.

To excel in this role you must have a valid commercial driver's licence CDL with a clean driving record. You should also have experience driving large trucks and the ability to safely manoeuvre in various weather conditions. Attention to detail is crucial in order to complete paperwork accurately and ensure the proper delivery of goods. You must also have excellent time-management skills to meet tight delivery deadlines. This is a contract job that offers a competitive salary of $1200 per week.

Accommodation may be provided depending on the length of the trip and the employer's policies. Visa sponsorship may also be available for non-local candidates. While prior experience is preferred this job is open to freshers who possess the necessary qualifications and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

As a Long Haul Truck Driver you must be physically fit and able to handle long hours of driving. You should also have good communication skills to effectively communicate with dispatchers, other drivers and clients.
