Qualifications

• Valid CDL with clean driving record.

• Physical strength to load and unload cargo as well as endure long hours of sitting while driving.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions from dispatchers.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients dispatchers and other drivers on the road.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a large commercial truck with a trailer attached
• Plan routes and meet delivery deadlines
• Inspect and maintain the truck and its equipment
• Load and unload cargo using proper techniques
• Communicate with dispatchers and clients to provide updates on delivery status
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations as well as company policies
