Job summary

Prolific is seeking fluent Lithuanian speakers to act as evaluators. You will complete side-by-side evaluations of text and audio, assessing how natural and authentic the Lithuanian language sounds and how well the AI captures nuance.

The role offers paid tasks typically around one hour each; pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, with the flexibility to work from home and choose your own hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent Lithuanian speaker with strong command of natural, everyday Lithuanian.
• Ability to distinguish subtle differences in accent, tone, and vocal delivery.
• Fluent English for instruction following and reporting.
• High attention to detail; backgrounds in linguistics or translation are a plus.
• Quiet environment and good quality headphones/speakers are required.
• A PayPal account to receive payment from clients.

Responsibilities

• Side-by-side evaluation: compare text and voice snippets to assess quality and authenticity.
• Naturalness assessment: listen to AI-generated audio and rate how natural the voice sounds.
• Quality control: identify where the AI's tone or pronunciation feels unnatural or culturally mismatched.
• Contextual review: determine whether intonation matches the cultural context of the conversation.
• Data tagging: provide feedback on naturalness, tone, and authenticity of the audio.
