Job summary

Banking Circle is seeking a Test Automation Engineer Lead in the CFO technology team, based in Copenhagen (and Poland), to shape testing frameworks, automation strategies, and regulatory-grade data products. You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, BI Analysts and CFO domain owners to embed quality by design across the full lifecycle of CFO systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Test Engineer or Test Automation Engineer in complex system landscapes.
• Strong background in test automation and data-intensive testing.
• Hands-on testing of data pipelines, reconciliations, and reporting solutions.
• Proficient in SQL and data validation techniques for large datasets.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, orchestration, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of data lineage, metadata, and quality rules is advantageous.
• Exposure to finance, accounting, regulatory reporting, risk, or compliance systems.
• Ability to translate domain logic into automated test scenarios and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy across CFO Technology, ensuring alignment with data sources and quality gates.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks covering regression, data testing, and controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate data accuracy, lineage, and coverage of risk, compliance, and data quality rules.
• Collaborate with Data and BI teams to translate business requirements into test scenarios.
• Ensure audit-ready test artefacts and contribute to testing standards and governance.
