Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking a Technical Designer/Process Engineer to lead 3D factory layouts and HF levels in global projects. You will coordinate with Project Managers, maintain Navisworks updates, and produce 2D drawings and diagrams while ensuring timely integration across departments and locations.

Strong English and Danish communication is essential as you collaborate with teams in India and Denmark, with travel up to 20 days per year.

Qualifications

  • Background as technical designer, mechanical or process engineer.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor, P&ID and preferably Plant 3D.
  • Able to manage several projects across different phases simultaneously.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key design contact for project and system owners, ensuring design activities and deliverables come together on time and with the right quality.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to align progress, deliverables and milestones.
  • Update and share Navisworks files regularly for visibility and coordination.
  • Create 3D factory layouts and HF Levels using Autodesk Inventor; manage diagrams and documentation with P&ID and Vault.
  • Produce 2D drawings with part lists, system arrangements and main diagrams; ensure correct integration into overall layout.

Job description

Responsibilities / Tasks

Do you want to create complex 3D layouts in global projects? And are you ready to take the lead in designing factory layouts and process systems that make a real impact on food, pharma and environmental industries? Join us in a key role, where you drive layout, documentation and design across departments and locations in complex and high-impact engineering projects.

  • You will be the key design contact for project and system owners, ensuring that design activities, deliverables and solutions come together on time and with the right quality – from early layouts to detailed HF levels and system integration.
  • In this process, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to ensure that progress, deliverables and project milestones are aligned.
  • One of your tasks in this collaboration is to update and share Naviswork files on a regular basis to ensure visibility and coordination.
  • create 3D factory layouts and HF Levels using Autodesk Inventor, while managing diagrams and documentation with P&ID and Vault
  • update 3D layouts with system inputs and follow up with system owners to ensure timely and correct integration into the overall layout and interconnecting piping produce 2D drawings with part lists, system arrangements and principal diagrams
  • collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues in India and validate design packages – with the opportunity to gradually take on a coordinating role for design resources in India
  • travel occasionally; up to 20 days per year
  • participate in weekly meetings and keep stakeholders updated with progress and drawings
Your Profile / Qualifications

With your technical mindset and attention to detail, you take ownership of your tasks and ensure that design and documentation are spot-on. You enjoy working across cultures and departments, taking ownership of your design responsibilities and have the ability to coordinate and move projects forward.

  • background as technical designer, mechanical or process engineer

  • confident working on several projects at different phases simultaneously
  • communicate fluently in both Danish and English
