Job summary

Centrica Energy, part of Centrica plc, is modernising its Renewable Energy Trading platform as part of a strategic programme. The role spans requirements analysis, design, governance, testing, and business readiness across a complex platform used for PPA and RET& O contracts.

You will partner with stakeholders, product teams, and architects in an agile environment to translate trading requirements into practical platform capabilities and to ensure solution alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in energy trading environments and PPA lifecycle.
Experience designing tools for front-office, middle-office, and back-office trading workflows.
Proficiency in agile product environments, including writing user stories and backlog refinement.
Strong knowledge of data flows, master data, and pricing models.

Responsibilities

Capture and translate business requirements for the target platform across the full solution lifecycle.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects in an Agile setting to deliver outcomes.
Ensure requirements for PPA and RET& O contracts are clearly captured including pricing terms and settlements.
Align platform design with the Digital PPA strategy and oversee UAT and business readiness activities.
