Job summary

Zealand Pharma is seeking a Laboratory Technician Intern to support stability studies and peptide characterization in early development. You will gain hands-on experience under mentorship, contributing to projects that advance our pipeline while performing analytical work across several techniques.

You will join a collaborative, cross-functional team within Pharmaceutical Development, with opportunities to automate equipment and document results according to quality standards.

• Perform chemical and physical analyses using techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, SEC, MS, pH measurements, DLS, CD, and Flowcam, among others
• Participate in cross-functional collaborations, playing an important role in the development process
• Carry out pre‑formulation work
• Help automate our laboratory equipment
• Document and report experimental results in accordance with internal quality standards

You will focus on stability studies and characterization of peptides in early development phases, contributing directly to projects that advance our pipeline, while being mentored by experienced colleagues along the way. You will join Pharmaceutical Development, a department of 7 laboratory technicians, 5 analytical chemists, 7 formulation chemists, 3 drug substance specialists, 1 CMC project manager, and 2 managers. We work closely together — both within the team and across departments — and always support one another when needed.
