Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Lab Technician for our Histopathology team in Denmark. The role supports analytical testing and tissue processing to drive compliance and product development.

Responsibilities include tissue cutting, performing IHC/ISH testing (manual and automated), and maintaining test records. Excellent Danish and English communication, plus strong attention to detail, are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on histological techniques, including tissue cutting and staining.
• Familiarity with IHC and ISH methods, both manual and automated.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Are you passionate about laboratory work and eager to contribute to impactful diagnostic solutions? We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our Histopathology team. In this temporary role, you will support critical analytical testing and tissue processing activities that drive our compliance and product development efforts.

Your tasks will include

• Cut tissue slides with precision and maintain high-quality standards (approx.1 day per week)

• Execute testing across several of our core technologies, including automated immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH).

• Provide an overview and tracking of tests and reagents to ensure readiness and compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align results, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Maintenance, installation and control of equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: (medical) Laboratory Technician

• Hands-on experience with histological techniques, including tissue cutting and staining.

• Familiarity with IHC and ISH methods, both manual and automated, is a strong advantage.

• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
