Job summary

LEGO Brand Retail in Billund is seeking a Laboratory Quality Manager Specialist to maintain, develop and improve quality systems and workflows in the Materials Laboratory. You will collaborate with technicians, method owners and specialists to ensure robust, compliant processes and future readiness.

This hybrid role balances quality stewardship with practical improvements, leveraging data to strengthen equipment management, methods and workflows across multiple testing activities.

Qualifications

• Maintained and improved laboratory quality systems, procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Ensured equipment function and reliability through a structured qualification, maintenance and calibration programme.
• Solved nonconformities and operational problems using data and systematic approaches to identify root causes and sustainable solutions.
• Analysed laboratory performance data using statistical methods to support investigations, validations, and improvements.
• Created alignment among laboratory technicians, method owners and technical specialists around laboratory standards and ways of working.
• Embedded quality or workflow improvements into everyday laboratory practice by working across functions.

Responsibilities

• Improve processes for laboratory equipment management and develop a system to monitor performance of methods and equipment to identify improvements needs in collaboration with method owners and super users.
• Take ownership of selected laboratory quality processes and improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen workflows, documentation, equipment management, and process monitoring.
• Balance quality, compliance, service levels and efficiency across varied testing activities.
• Help prepare our laboratory for the future by spotting opportunities for improved use of data, digitalization or automation.
