Job summary

Job description

Tinytots International Daycare & Preschool is an integrated international preschool/ kindergarten in Copenhagen, Denmark, approved by kommunes (municipalities). We have three locations in different parts of Copenhagen. Our program is inspired by Highscope and Montessori pedagogical frameworks. Dedicated to providing quality child‑care, interactive learning and memorable experiences, our preschool program is designed to be different, flexible, and encourage active hands‑on learning while introducing age‑appropriate academic challenges.

Responsibilities

• Planning of activities and lessons and implementation within overall curriculum framework
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe on a continuous basis
• Assist in observation and recording children’s growth, development and behaviour
• Build good, open and constructive communication with children, families, administration and staff

Language, education and experience requirements

• High level fluency in English (Minimum C1 level; IELTS band 7 and above) is required. Danish language skill is not necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education / Early Childhood Education is preferred but not mandatory.
• 2‑3 years’ early years teaching experience in Nursery/kindergarten is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in Positive Behaviour Management is preferred.
• Certification in Montessori or equivalent demonstrable experience in implementation of Montessori pedagogy will be an added advantage.
