Job summary

Playback is a Copenhagen-based music fin-tech startup helping independent artists and labels take control of their royalty management. We’re building technology that turns complicated royalty data, reporting and payment flows into something much simpler. And right now, we’re bringing more of our software development in-house.

We’re looking for a Junior Software Developer who wants to grow alongside the product and the engineering team we’re building around it.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in software development.
• Experience with modern programming languages and web technologies.
• Understanding of APIs, databases and software architecture.
• Care about understandable, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Build new features for the Playback platform.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations.
• Work with royalty and financial data.
• Automating manual workflows.
• Improve internal tools.
• Fix bugs and improve existing functionality.
• Write tests and helping improve the quality of our codebase.
• Work closely with Product and Operations to understand the problems we’re solving.
• Learning how software decisions connect to customers and the business behind them.
