Job summary

Minerva Imaging is seeking a Junior Python Developer for its Digital Solutions and Technology department in Ølstykke, Denmark. You will work on the core internal application for data capture and reporting across research workflows, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to build reliable, maintainable software.

Ideal candidates have completed a Datamatiker or Datatekniker education with Python experience, basic OOP knowledge, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Completed software development education such as Datamatiker or Datatekniker with programming focus.
• Experience with Python from education or projects or work.
• Basic understanding of OOP, databases, APIs, and version control.
• Interest in backend and frontend development; Django is a plus but not required.
• Structured and curious problem-solving approach, willingness to learn and ask for help.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Professional English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functionality in internal Python applications as part of the team.
• Collaborate with operations, research and other departments to understand requirements.
• Develop clear, maintainable, and efficient Python and Django code with guidance from seniors.
• Create and maintain documentation for the solutions developed.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, and improving code quality.
• Use AI-assisted development tools in a structured, secure, compliant, and measurable way.
• Contribute to the team by sharing knowledge and learning from feedback.
