Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in construction is preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of math for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mixing and applying mortar or other adhesives to secure bricks or stones.
• Lay bricks or stones according to blueprints or specifications.
• Cut and shape bricks or stones to fit into designated spaces.
• Use hand tools such as trowels levels and hammers.
• Clean and maintain work area and tools.
• Learn from experienced masons on techniques and safety procedures.
