Job description

As a Junior Game Developer you will be responsible for assisting in the development and coding of new video games for our company You will work closely with senior developers and designers to bring creative ideas to life and ensure high-quality gameplay experiences for our players This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or those with limited experience in game development

Key Responsibilities

• - Collaborate with senior developers and designers to brainstorm and implement new game concepts
• - Write debug and maintain efficient code for game features and mechanics
• - Test and troubleshoot games to identify and resolve any technical issues
• - Stay up-to-date with industry trends technologies and techniques to continuously improve skills and contribute fresh ideas
• - Participate in team meetings provide progress updates and contribute to project planning

Requirements

• - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Game DesignDevelopment or related field or equivalent experience
• - Strong programming skills in C++ C or other relevant languages
• - Passion for video games and understanding of game design principles
• - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking initiative on individual tasks
• - Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
• - Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English

Preferred

• - Experience with game development tools such as Unity or Unreal Engine
• - Familiarity with 2D3D graphics programming techniques
• - Knowledge of mobile gaming platforms iOSAndroid
• - Previous experience working on personal game projects or participating in hackathonsgame jams

Location Aarhus Denmark

Salary $1600month

This is a full-time position with the option of onsite accommodation
