Job summary

Family Assist in Horsens, Denmark is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate and maintain heavy machinery, contributing to smooth company operations. This contract role offers a path for individuals without prior experience to enter the field, with visa sponsorship for non-Danish nationals.

You will operate forklifts, excavators, loaders and other equipment, perform routine inspections, follow safety protocols, and report issues to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience operating heavy machinery preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment such as forklifts, excavators, loaders and other heavy machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency.
• Record daily production activities and report any issues to management.
