Job description

As a Junior Civil Engineer you will be responsible for assisting in the planning design and construction of various civil engineering projects Your main goal will be to ensure that projects are completed within budget on time and in accordance with all necessary regulations and standards

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals budgets and schedules
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for project planning
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop detailed designs and construction plans
• Analyze data and perform calculations to determine project feasibility
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to team members and stakeholders
• Ensure that all safety standards are met on site
• Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship
• Liaise with contractors suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Support the procurement process by reviewing bids and selecting suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles practices and techniques
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD SAP2000 or similar programs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical information to non-experts
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
• Fluency in English Danish language proficiency is a plus

Salary

Starting salary of 1000$ per month with potential for increase based on performance

This position is based in Esbjerg Denmark

Note

This position does not require prior experience but preference will be given to candidates who have completed internships or have some practical experience in civil engineering
