BrightConnect in the Faroe Islands seeks an Entry Level Android Developer to join our team and help build exciting mobile applications. This role is ideal for recent graduates or anyone starting their career in tech, offering hands-on experience and mentorship.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to design, develop, test, and refine Android apps, while continuously staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, and other programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and test new mobile applications for the Android platform.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met.
• Continuously research and learn about the latest mobile development trends, tools and techniques.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues on existing applications.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate them into project requirements.
• Work closely with designers, product managers and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
