Junior Accountant

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Vejle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a full-time position, with a salary of 1000$ per month. Previous experience is not required, but candidates must have at least a high school diploma in accounting or related field. As an entry-level position, this role offers the opportunity for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support the senior accountant with tax filings and audits
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma in accounting or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have own visa for working in Vejle (EU citizenship preferred)
