Job summary

Jobtailor in Copenhagen is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team. You will participate in agile ceremonies, design and develop new solutions—around 80% of your time—test, document, and implement your solutions to ensure high quality and maintainability.

The role requires experience as a Software Engineer, a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, and working knowledge of Java and related technologies. Proficiency in English is essential; Danish is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with Java and a genuine interest in the underlying technologies and architecture.
Experience with—or a strong motivation to learn—our technology stack, including Java, Hibernate, Gradle, Microsoft SQL Server, GitLab, Docker, and Rancher.
Professional proficiency in English. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Participating in the team's agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Designing and developing new solutions—around 80% of your time will be spent designing and writing code.
Testing, documenting, and implementing your solutions to ensure high quality and maintainability.
Troubleshooting and resolving bugs while continuously improving the platform.
