Job summary

Veo Technologies is seeking an experienced IT security lead to own the security of our growing global environment. You will protect devices, identities and data, define BYOD rules, run SSO/SCIM/MFA for SaaS apps, and drive incident response.

You will also guide governance, vulnerability management and compliance efforts as we scale. You’ll work in our Copenhagen office with a pragmatic, team-first approach, collaborating with Legal and GRC to build secure, scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Years of experience in IT security or security operations in a growing tech company.
• End-to-end ownership mindset for security across devices, identities and data.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and NIS2 with practical operational experience.
• Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is a strong advantage as we pursue them.
• Proven ability to communicate risk to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own endpoint security across macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android devices.
• Define BYOD, conditional access, and data separation strategies.
• Run SSO, SCIM and MFA for SaaS apps; manage onboarding/offboarding.
• Build identity governance and access reviews with least-privilege.
• Lead IT incident response from detection to post-incident review.
• Monitor CVEs, prioritize fixes and ensure patches are applied.
• Plan phishing simulations and security awareness training.
• Oversee daily operational security and policy runbooks.
• Drive GDPR/NIS2 compliance work with Legal and GRC.
• Support groundwork for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification.
• Own office security systems (CCTV, door access) with Office Manager.
