Category: Digital & IT

Location: Ballerup, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Job Title: IT Compliance Advisor (Specialist) for Digital workplace solutions

Department: Infrastructure Projects, Quality and Service Management (IPQS), Enterprise IT & Quality

Location: Ballerup, Denmark. Working across countries and time zones with colleagues in Denmark and India.

Your impact begins here

As IT Compliance Advisor, you will help the teams behind Novo’s global digital workplace deliver at speed without compromising on quality. In this new role, you will turn complex regulatory requirements into practical steps for teams running devices, M365, meeting rooms and other services that nearly 70,000 colleagues rely on every day. You will strengthen audit readiness, sharpen quality management and bring automation, including AI, into compliance work, so the tools people use are trusted and future-ready.

What you’ll bring

You are an experienced IT quality or compliance professional who pairs regulatory expertise with a pragmatic, collaborative mindset and a good understanding of IT services in an enterprise setting. You are structured, assertive when needed and enjoy sharing knowledge to lift the skills of the people around you.

  • A BSc in IT, compliance, engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with qualification or validation in a regulated environment, including at least 3 years in IT.
  • Several years’ experience with IT service management processes and tools, including ServiceNow, and with Change & Release Management.
  • The ability to understand and interpret complex technical documents and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, and fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Confidence representing Novo with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and authorities.
  • A structured, self-managed approach and comfort working across countries and time zones.

Useful, but not essential:

  • An MSc in IT, compliance, engineering or a related field.
  • Expertise in GAMP 5, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11, with hands-on experience in deviations, risk management, CAPA, root cause analysis (RCA) and A3.
  • Previous experience in IT Service Management, IT consulting or Operational Excellence in a highly regulated industry such as pharma or banking.

What you’ll do

You will be the go-to quality and compliance partner for your assigned digital workplace areas, helping teams move from implementation to retirement with clarity and confidence.

  • Act as Quality Compliance Advisor and Quality Management System expert, guiding Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical Subject Matter Experts and IT Solution Owners through implementation, testing and retirement processes.
  • Author central processes, own the content of critical IT documentation and help colleagues build their compliance skills.
  • Drive audit readiness, including preparation, tracking, monitoring and closure of audit actions, and handle deviations when they arise.
  • Support qualification, verification, documentation and lifecycle management for IT infrastructure and workplace technologies, mainly in ServiceNow.
  • Analyse and drive automation in compliance work, including AI implementation.
  • Help put the Enterprise IT & Quality strategy for quality leadership into practice.

Who you’ll work with

You will join IPQS, a central compliance function in Enterprise IT & Quality, a business area that works across the Novo value chain and stays close to its stakeholders. The team has five Compliance Advisors in Denmark and India. Together with Project and Service Managers, you will advise infrastructure and global IT workplace services and support central compliance activities.

Your main partner will be Global Digital Workplace, a virtual department with colleagues in Denmark and India who support how Novo employees work and collaborate worldwide. You will work across a portfolio that includes Windows Managed Devices, Meeting Rooms, the Live Stream platform, IPT, Mobile Device Management, M365 services and Apple management. Your colleagues have strong insight into digital and AI adoption and enterprise-scale rollouts, and you will quickly see where your guidance helps them deliver at pace.

What you can expect here

This is a new role, so you have real room to bring fresh perspectives on quality management for applications, client and desktop services, and to make your voice heard in how compliance is done. You will be trusted to own your areas, while building new skills in automation and AI and growing alongside colleagues who know digital workplace technology inside out.

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
