Overview

VIA equity is looking for curious and ambitious individuals to join our investment team. The position is based in Copenhagen and will require some travelling, primarily within the Nordic countries, but also to the DACH-region.

Responsibilities

• Working with diverse teams to screen and/or evaluate potential investments, including meeting and assessing management teams and supporting financial and commercial due diligence work streams.
• Market and industry research.
• Preparation of financial valuation models and presentations of potential investments.
• Assisting on specific development projects within portfolio companies.

Profile

We are looking for candidates who are motivated, analytical, and have an interest in learning more about capital markets, M&A, and in particular private equity. Interest in software/tech companies is valued and while prior industry knowledge is beneficial, it is not required.

Relevant candidates are able to work independently as well as in diverse teams and appreciate an informal working environment. Our working languages are Nordic and English, hence, business-level proficiency in either Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish and English is mandatory.

Ideal candidates are either graduating in 2026 or have up to three years of relevant work experience with good academic results from a master’s degree in finance or similar from business school or university. Relevant work experience during or after studies will be highly regarded.
