Norlys Energy Trading A/S in Aalborg seeks an experienced power trader for intraday markets. You will identify opportunities, execute trades, and manage risk in a fast-moving environment, working with a team of experienced colleagues.

The desk operates around the clock with a 24/7 shift rotation, and you will trade independently while sharing insights across shifts. The role is permanent, full-time at our Aalborg office, start date 1 February 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy trading, preferably intraday power.
• Strong analytical skills and risk management understanding.
• Ability to make well-founded decisions under pressure.
• Good communication and knowledge sharing with colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Analyse market data and price movements to identify opportunities.
• Develop and execute intraday trading strategies.
• Monitor positions, manage risk, and respond to market changes.
• Collaborate with traders, analysts and quantitative teams to share insights.
• Contribute to improving trading tools, models and processes.
• Coordinate with colleagues across shifts to ensure continuity.
• Maintain relationships with market participants and stakeholders.
