Job summary

Light is building a next-gen fintech platform and seeks an Integrations Engineer to own the surface between Light and external financial systems. This backend-heavy role focuses on multi-tenant connections, bank APIs, e-invoicing networks, and tax platforms, with Kotlin on the backend and a React frontend in scope for full-stack curiosity.

You'll ship production-ready integrations, design robust abstractions, and ensure data integrity as partners evolve.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in integrations.
• Production software experience, not demos.
• Experience with unforgiving external systems and proper defense.
• Direct banking/payments API experience; JPM or HSBC is valuable.
• Familiarity with ISO 20022, SWIFT or open banking helpful.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and responsible shipping.

Responsibilities

• Bank connectivity: integrate with corporate banking APIs and standards.
• Multi-tenancy: design isolated credentials and data per tenant.
• Global e-invoicing: connect to networks and compliance regimes.
• Tax platforms: integrate statutory filing APIs.
• Reliability and reconciliation: ensure idempotency and end-to-end correctness.
