Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of different types of instruments used in industrial processes.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair various instruments such as transmitters, controllers, sensors and control valves.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including calibration and testing of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Respond to emergency calls to diagnose and resolve instrument-related issues.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex instrument problems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any potential issues or concerns.
