Job summary

OceanWave Maritime in Horsens, Denmark, seeks an Instrument Technician to ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of instruments and control systems across our facility. This full-time role requires hands-on troubleshooting and precise record-keeping.

You will install, calibrate, diagnose faults, and collaborate with other technicians. A technical diploma in instrumentation and at least 2 years’ experience are required; PLCs, DCS, and SCADA familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Instrument Technician.
• Diploma or certificate in instrumentation.
• Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, SCADA.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain instruments and control systems.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments and control systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance logs and inventory.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Stay updated on new instrumentation technologies.
