Job summary

OceanWave Maritime is seeking an Instrument Technician to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of instruments and control systems at our Horsens facility. The role involves installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance conducted by a skilled technician.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, a diploma in instrumentation, and a solid understanding of electrical circuits, pneumatic systems, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Instrument Technician in a similar industry.
• Diploma or certificate in instrumentation or related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain various types of instruments and control systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all instruments and control systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Keep accurate records of all activities including maintenance logs and inventory records.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Stay updated on new technologies and equipment related to instrumentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar industry
• Technical diploma or certificate in instrumentation or related field
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits pneumatic systems and digital communication protocols
• Familiarity with PLCs DCSs SCADA systems and other control equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects

Salary The salary for this position is $1700 per month
