Job description

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Faroe Islands. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain instruments and control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Conduct tests to ensure accurate functioning of instruments
• Document all work performed in detailed reports
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical degree or certification preferred
• Previous experience as an Instrument Technician is a plus but not required
• Must have a valid biometric passport for travel purposes
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles and instrumentation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
