Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT architecture and design.
• Expertise in the .NET platform and C#, with hosting on Windows, Linux and cloud platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, application integration, and cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles.
• Strong security knowledge: encryption, authentication, authorization and data protection.
• Experience implementing security controls and mitigating cyber risks.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Solution Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative IT solutions that meet our organization's needs. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and designing end-to-end solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles. Additionally, you will evaluate existing systems and infrastructure, identify areas for improvement or optimization, and develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate solution designs effectively.

A key aspect of this role will involve leading and mentoring developers and engineers to ensure the successful implementation of solutions. This will require you to also provide technical guidance and support during all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring that our IT solutions meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance. As a key member of the team, you'll be involved in the entire development process—from idea generation and gathering business requirements to refining those requirements and collaborating closely with development teams to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Intricate knowledge of the .NET platform and C# in combination with hosting of websites and services developed in .NET on windows, linux and cloud platforms.
• Proven experience as an IT Solution Architect or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in IT architecture and design.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, application integration, and cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.
• Familiarity with development best practices and principles, including SOLID.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Experience implementing security controls and measures to protect sensitive information and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
• Ability to conduct security assessments, audits, and reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
