Job summary

SkyCrew is seeking an Information Security Analyst to safeguard our computer systems and networks in Odense, with potential remote options. The role requires a solid grasp of information security principles and hands-on experience with risk management and regulatory compliance.

You will develop and implement security policies, perform vulnerability assessments and tests, monitor for suspicious activity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure solutions while staying current

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, CS or related field.
• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, Qualys).
• Familiarity with networks, firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption.

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding the organizations computer systems and networks This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles and practices as well as experience in risk management and compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies procedures and standards to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of information assets
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and investigate any incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure solutions for new systems or applications
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks
• Conduct employee training on information security best practices
• Participate in audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Security Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
• Knowledge of common security frameworks eg ISO 27001 and regulatory requirements eg GDPR
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
• Familiarity with network protocols firewalls intrusion detectionprevention systems encryption technologies etc
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear language for non-technical stakeholders

Location

This position is located in Odense but remote work options may be available

Salary

The salary for this position is $1600 per month

Contract Type

This is a contract position with potential for extension
