Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a DevSecOps & System Integration Engineer to bridge code and heavy industrial machines, building automated pipelines in Azure and securing deployments across OT environments.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to enable secure, scalable connections between cloud and on-premise hardware, while adopting modern software practices and a testing-as-code mindset.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in systems or computational engineering.
• Strong programming background in Python (highly preferred) or C#.
• Solid DevOps experience with Azure DevOps, Git and automated pipelines.
• Hardware curiosity and hands-on experience with microcontrollers or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with APIs and integration patterns; knowledge of industrial protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Pipeline: design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for industrial control software.
• Testing as Code: refactor testing scripts into automated, integrated frameworks.
• DevSecOps & Cybersecurity: integrate security automation to fulfill cybersecurity compliance.
• Edge & Factory Integration: enable secure data flows between decanters, edge devices, and local factory systems.
