Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class B driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional driver.
• Ability to work full-time hours.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and passengers to designated locations
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and other drivers
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
• Report any accidents or incidents immediately to management
• Keep accurate records of mileage fuel usage and any other necessary documentation
