Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Research Assistant in Circuit Biology at our Copenhagen headquarters. You will generate high-quality in vivo pharmacology data to understand how novel treatments affect neuronal and neuromuscular function, working across central and peripheral in vivo electrophysiology with EEG, high-density recordings, and neurochemical measurements.

The role offers strong development opportunities within Lundbeck’s drug discovery pipeline and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• MSc in neuroscience, physiology, biomedical science, pharmacology, biology or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience conducting in vivo experiments in rodents, preferably involving electrophysiology, neurophysiology or functional imaging.
• FELASA accreditation or equivalent qualification permitting experimental work with laboratory animals.
• Experience with animal surgery, physiological recordings or other technically demanding in vivo procedures.
• Experience with data analysis using appropriate software.
• Ability to troubleshoot experimental procedures and learn new techniques quickly.
