Job summary

DTU Skylab in Lyngby, Denmark, invites applications for a full-time technician to keep our prototyping facilities running and support students and startups. The role includes maintaining 3D printers, laser cutters, and electronics, plus developing safe workflows and guiding users both on campus and at TUH Skylab one-two days per week.

You will join the Technology Section and work with the Lead Coordinator for Rapid Prototyping, reporting to the Section Head.

Qualifications

• Have a relevant technical or craft/trade background.
• Practical experience and knowledge in prototyping technologies.
• Able to create structure and ensure smooth workshop operations.
• Interest in HealthTech or medical technology.
• Comfortable communicating in English and Danish.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 3D printers, laser cutters, and electronics.
• Ensure materials and spare parts are available and the workshop stays functional.
• Develop clear and safe workflows for the workshops.
• Provide technical guidance to students and startups at TUH Skylab.
• Support data collection systems across Skylab facilities.
