Job summary

Prevas in Aarhus is expanding its hardware team and seeking a positive, service-minded hardware developer. You will join a dedicated team cooperating with software, mechanical engineers and project managers to design and verify high-speed digital designs, power electronics, and EMI-aware hardware for multiple industries.

You have a bachelor degree (or higher) in electrical engineering or similar, and you enjoy solving challenging problems with ownership and customer-driven deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience or exposure to highspeed digital design, power electronics, or EMI considerations.
• Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams including software, mechanical engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Join a hardware team in Aarhus and collaborate with software, mechanical engineers and project managers.
• Design, verify and bring up hardware for multiple industries with focus on reliability.
• Ensure production-readiness and testability, with attention to EMI and EMC requirements.

We are expanding our hardware team in Aarhus and are looking for a positive, service minded hardware developer that enjoys working with many different challenges in a number of different industries and sectors.

You must be driven by curiosity while valuing quality and providing an excellent service towards our customers. Self-driven but not afraid of drawing on the knowledge of more experienced colleagues.

You will be working in a dedicated team of excellent hardware developers in Aarhus cooperating with mechanical engineers, embedded software developers, Linux developers and project managers.

You have a bachelor degree (or higher) in electrical engineering or similar with experience in some of the following areas:

• Highspeed digital design
• Power electronics and power supplies
• Wireless design
• Analog circuit design
• Designing for production testing
• Designing with respect to EMI
• Simulation
• Hardware bring-up and verification
• PCB layout
• Altium and Orcad
• EMC testing
• Environmental testing and approvals
